ElevateEdAZ and Helios Education Foundation are now offering a $1,000 incentive to teachers who become qualified to teach dual enrollment between April 2024 and June 2025!

Why Dual Enrollment?

  • Dual enrollment is rapidly gaining interest among students in Arizona and across the country, however, access to these classes is limited due to the availability of certified teachers.
  • Students who take dual enrollment courses are twice as likely to go to college*
  • Students who take dual enrollment courses are more likely to stay enrolled in college, earn higher GPAs, and complete their degree*

Incentive Program

  • Teachers who become qualified to teach dual enrollment between April 2024 and June 2025 are eligible for this incentive. Teachers must:
    • Be approved to teach a new dual enrollment course with an Arizona post-secondary institution between April 2024 and June 2025 OR:
    • Be a current dual enrollment teacher who becomes qualified to teach an additional dual enrollment course (Example: a teacher who currently teaches creative writing dual enrollment course now teaching English 101/102).
  • Dual enrollment courses must be on the ElevateEdAZ list of qualified courses. These are courses that have high transferability and/or are part of the AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum).
  • New dual enrollment course must be verified by direct supervisor.
