Vision

The Dual Enrollment Coalition AZ enhances and expands dual enrollment programs across the state, leading to increased post-secondary attainment.

Building off the four strategic goals created in 2022, we have identified these priorities for 2025:

  1. Students and Families: Ensure that at least 50% of high school students graduate with a minimum of 12 college credits applicable to a post-secondary pathway. Raise family and student awareness of dual enrollment benefits.
  2. Teachers and Faculty: Increase the number of educators becoming dual enrollment certified and the number of high school teachers pursuing graduate courses.
  3. Intentional Alignment: Develop a common language, statewide goals, and policy agenda regarding enrollment and resources.
  4. Administration and Planning: Launch and grow the Dual Enrollment Coalition AZ membership and engagement, to improve coordination and alignment among stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date on dual enrollment opportunities across the State.
  • Learn best practices from dual enrollment leaders in our State.

We need your help spreading the word about these funding opportunities!

Why Dual Enrollment?

  • We know that students who take dual enrollment courses are twice as likely to go to college, earn higher GPAs, and complete their degrees. **Helios Decision Center
  • We know that there are many barriers to students’ access to dual enrollment courses, including the admissions and enrollment process, financial aid, and number of courses offered.
