High School Career Connect

Through a partnership, ElevateEdAZ, the Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA), Arizona Business and Education Coalition (ABEC), and the Pima County Superintendent’s Office have connected to provide virtual career exploration experiences to students aptly named, High School Career Connect.

The experience is designed to inspire and inform rising high school students who are beginning to form their own career identity and a vision for their future. Through a series of virtual sessions with employers and college programs, students will learn about opportunities in high-growth industries in Arizona.

Through group activities and interactive sessions with Lead Facilitators, students will explore the world of work through the lens of their own interests and gifts. As a capstone activity, students will engage in an applied consultancy, presenting recommendations and improvements to career exploration materials used by the Center for the Future of Arizona.
